Jaden Brown

They/He

Originally from Kennesaw, Jaden Brown now calls Atlanta home, where they are deeply connected to the creative queer community. With a passion for transformative and expressive hair, Jaden has been perfecting their craft since 2018.

Specializing in color corrections and high-contrast creative colors, Jaden loves working with texture and individuality, with a particular flair for shags, mullets, and short cuts. HAIRSTORY Powder and Balm is a must-have in their toolkit for achieving that perfect finish.

Jaden's dream involves not only creating stunning hair but also giving back to the trans community and advocating for more inclusive spaces within salon environments. They envision traveling, collaborating with other artists, and fostering a network of creative individuals through trades and shared experiences.

The most rewarding part of the job for Jaden is connecting with people and crafting hair magic, all while making the salon environment a welcoming space for trans and non-binary individuals. As a neurodivergent person, Jaden is committed to ensuring that every client’s experience is tailored to their needs and desires, free from shame.

Among Jaden’s top educational experiences are participating in free gender-affirming haircut events, taking classes from admired stylists, and receiving recognition for the dedication and care they bring to their work.

When asked what “You Are Ok.” Means to them, “I think a lot of people myself included struggle with the idea of being good enough, and I think it’s incredibly important to know, showing up as your authentic self is the most valuable thing someone can do for themselves. It means knowing despite the struggles and failures that you are okay and still deserve to live the life you dream of.”
